MISSION
To Support the Charlotte Mecklenburg FSU Students and Alumni. To assist the National Alumni Association in developing and increasing the facilities of Fayetteville State University for the broader educational opportunities for services to its students and alumni and to the citizens of the State of North Carolina by encouraging gifts for Fayetteville State University and its students and by such other proper means as may seem advisable.
CHAPTER HIGHLIGHT
The Charlotte Alumni Chapter is the first chapter to initiate an Endowment Scholarship Fund, and maintains support for FSU students through giving. Because of the continuous contributions, the Charlotte Alumni Chapter received the 2019 Large Chapter of the Year Award by the National Black College Alumni (NBCA) Hall of Fame Foundation, Inc. On September 27, 2019, The Charlotte Alumni Chapter was honored at the Legacy of Leaders Alumni Awards Luncheon in Atlanta, GA. The Charlotte Alumni Chapter is the first to receive this award within the Fayetteville State University National Alumni Association, Inc. The NBCA event promotes the viability of HBCUs and highlights the accomplishments of their alumni.
